Welcome to DIF! We are so glad to have you here with us.

Whether you are visiting just for one week or moving here, we want you to feel at ease and know that your child(ren) are being well taken care of.

To help make your time with us as welcoming and straightforward as possible, please pre-register your child(ren) using the button below. This will make check-in and check-out processes go smoothly.

WHAT IS DIF KIDS?

DIF KIDS is our ministry for children aged from confident walkers to 10 years of age (afterwards they transition to our tweens and teens ministry called DIF Students). It is a life-giving and safe space for children to grow in God, make friends, and have fun!

We are passionate about partnering with parents/caregivers as we gather each week to give the gospel and grow the children of DIF through age-specific lessons and activities that lead them to become committed followers of Jesus.

WHO IS DIF KIDS FOR?

DIF KIDS is a safe and nurturing environment for our youngest generations. It combines high-energy, fun, and engaging activities with relevant and practical Bible-based teaching and is open for any child from the confident walkers to 10 year olds whose parent/adult caregiver is physically attending the main service.

OUR PARTNERSHIP WITH YOU

Our goal is to partner with each child and their parents/caregivers to ensure every child who gathers with us knows the ultimate truth: that God loves them and desires to know them deeply, and, that He has a plan for their lives where they can contribute significantly to their world through their faith in, and relationship with, God.

WHAT DOES THIS LOOK LIKE?

Each week, we provide your children with Bible-based and age-appropriate lessons, consistently giving the gospel and nurturing the spiritual growth of these young ones to become committed followers of Jesus.

This is done through: games, action-packed teaching illustrations, engaging video lessons, Bible memory verses, worship, and small group time. Children are also sent home with their key point, verse, and a parent conversation card for you to reinforce what has been learned. A small snack is also provided.
  • All children will first attend the main service with their parents/caregivers.
  • The service MC will invite children and their parents/caregivers to their DIF KIDS classes.
  • Children must be accompanied by their parent/caregiver and checked-in.

WHAT ARE THE AGE-GROUPS?

We currently have two age groups as part of DIF Kids:

Explorers

(confident walkers - 5 years)

Ignite

(6 - 10 years)

There is also DIF Students (11 - 17 years) for our tweens and teens.

OUR COMMITMENT TO YOU

WHO IS IN OUR ROOMS?

We have a passionate and dynamic team of volunteer leaders at DIF Kids. Regardless of which age-group they serve and lead in, our team enjoy having fun without compromising their commitment to making a difference in the hearts and lives of our younger generations. All of our team have gone through a recruitment process, induction training, signed and agreed to all DIF policies and procedures, and have been cleared to serve by DIF Leadership.

OUR COMMITMENT TO YOU

Our DIF Kids Team consider it an honour to serve you and your child(ren), partnering with you in the work God has called us to be part of in raising committed followers of Jesus. It is our desire that you would feel confident that God is working in the lives of your child(ren) while they are in our DIF Kids rooms and also give you an assurance that their comfort and safety is being well taken care of. we

In addition to the above, DIF has five non-negotiable policies along with various procedures that promise safety for your children and peace of mind for you:

  • Two-adult policy
  • Check-in and check-out policy
  • Restroom and diaper policy
  • Recruitment and conduct policy
  • Mandatory reporting policy

You are welcome to read these in more detail by reviewing the DIF Child Protection Policy.

WAYS YOU CAN HELP US AND YOUR CHILD(REN)

Ensure your information is up-to-date. To provide the best experience possible for everyone, please ensure the information for you, your child(ren), and your wider family is correct and up-to-date on a regular basis. This includes birth dates.

Remain contactable. We are not a child care service but a ministry to bless you and your child(ren) while attending the weekly service. Please provide correct contact information including your phone number and keep your phone nearby in case we need to contact you.

Promptly come to check-out your child in-person. Our check-out procedures require your physical presence. Please come promptly after the main service has concluded and head upstairs to the relevant room(s) to collect your child(ren).

Take your child(ren) to the restroom or change their diaper before you check-in. This will ensure a more pleasant experience for everyone and remove distractions.

Befriend the team. If you feel comfortable, your child(ren) will too.

Talk with them and engage with what they have learned that week. Use the weekly take home card set to recap the point, verse, and conversation starters to facilitate discussion together and reinforce what’s been shared at DIF Kids.

Pray for them. The power of a praying parent or caregiver cannot and should not be underestimated.

Consider joining the team. Even if it is just once every month or so, we are always looking out for people who are passionate about helping younger generations to live and love like Jesus.

See you soon!
