OUR COMMUNITY
We believe in the power of community and connecting beyond physical walls of the church, to meet people wherever they are on their journey. As such, we have multiple communities established to unite our church, provide spiritual nourishment, share ideas, and foster an environment of support and collaboration.
WOMEN
This community is a wonderful way to receive wisdom and love through friendship with fellow Sisters in Christ. We also have special gatherings throughout the year, including our annual Women’s Christmas Event.
COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
We are committed to meet people at their point of need - expressing the love of God, reaffirming their dignity, and inviting them to His transformative grace. Community Engagement is the ministry by which we assist people within our community as well as those within our church body.
KIDS
This is our ministry for children aged from confident walkers to 10 years of age. It is a life-giving and safe space for children to grow in God, make friends, and have fun! In partnership with parents/caregivers, we are passionate about consistently giving the gospel and growing the children of DIF through age-specific lessons and activities that lead them to become committed followers of Jesus.
STUDENTS
Known is our youth/students ministry for those aged 11- 17. We are committed to gathering and nurturing an attractive, Jesus-centred community of students. Through consistently giving the gospel to our students, we want them to experience God intimately, grow to enjoy Him deeply, and bring Him glory into adulthood.
YOUNG ADULTS
This ministry is aimed to gather the young adults in order to foster meaningful relationships with God and each other while pursuing spiritual growth together. Through our unity, we aim to strengthen the body of Christ.
LIFE GROUPS
Connecting with others is an integral part of the faith journey. Life Groups are a great way to get to know and encourage one another as well as strengthen our faith in God. Life Groups are run throughout the week.
mEN
ManUp ministry meets every month for breakfast, dinner, or an adventure. This community is for men of all ages – young, married, single, dads and grandfathers. The purpose of the ministry is to connect with other men and make meaningful lifelong connections. We welcome you to join us at any time.
PRAYER
The most one can do in any situation is pray. We come together weekly to give thanks to the Lord for all that He is doing among us. We pray for the nation, the city, for the local church, and for each other. This weekly time of focused and corporate prayer among the church creates expectation for a great move of God in our city. Let us seek Him together as a church.
